Important Time to Heal Ancestral Karma

I am publishing my monthly blog early so that you and your family can benefit from the important time of the year dedicated to ancestral healing. Besides the points I discuss further below, honoring your forbears is practical. According to Mayo Clinic, research shows that appreciation has positive effects on your health. Practicing gratitude can improve sleep, mood and immunity and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. In my healing work, I have noticed that negative ancestral karma can contribute to challenges in people’s lives. Considering that we have plenty of our own personal karma to deal with, the concept of negative ancestral karma may seem overwhelming. Fortunately, there are ways to transform negative karma and enhance positive karma. Besides the Karmic Transformations included with my Distance Healings, traditional ways of revering ancestors are thought to enhance the well-being of all involved.

Ancestral Veneration

In many European, Asian and African cultures, ancestral veneration has two purposes. One purpose is the happiness and liberation of the deceased. The other purpose is blessings such as health, wealth, protection and fulfillment that the forbears confer upon their living descendants. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 1, verse 42, discusses how ancestral Vedic rites bring goodwill, peace and satisfaction to the departed forefathers. But the blessings do not flow only one way. He points out that the rites connect us with the departed and serve as a channel to let the blessings flow in both directions.

Three Gifts

According to the great Vedic seers, homage to ancestors should be observed during a specific time of year which is based on the lunar calendar. They say that the ancestors visit Earth during this time to be liberated and to give blessings to their relatives. I feel it is important for you to know that for 2024, this will occur from September 18 to October 2. To take advantage of this powerful time, my Distance Healings will include additional attention on ancestral karma.

The second gift: Everyone currently receiving Distance Healings will automatically be included in a Group Healing focused on honoring ancestors and healing ancestral karma.

The third gift: I will share my recordings about individual, family and ancestral karma with all Distance Healings recipients.

If you are not currently receiving Distance Healings, sign up as soon as possible to benefit from this powerful time to help heal blocks to your well-being and foster liberation for you and your family.

Customs for Honoring Your Ancestors

Here are a few traditional ways to pay homage to the departed:

Assist those in need. Help the elderly or sick. Donate food or money to charities. When done with your ancestors in mind, charitable acts are believed to earn merit for both the living and the departed.

Ideally, at all times, but especially from September 18 to October 2, treat all living beings with kindness, compassion and generosity. The sages say that when the ancestors visit the Earth during this time, they can assume any form.

Family Healing

After years of family disharmony, Kay Joshi reported improvement:

"Dear beloved Suzanne, I had recently requested Distance Healings for my younger sister, as she was suffering from paranoia stemming from PTSD. On the last day of her healings, my father received an unexpected message from her in which she named all three of her siblings and remarked how beautiful we are. Up until that time, the messages she sent used to be belligerent. It was like a door had opened to her from the inside, and she was able to clear something out of her system. I just want to say that, despite my initial skepticism, my intuition was proven right about the healings you bestow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart with humble pranams and warm gratitude. I will soon be signing up the rest of my family as well to enable them to bring their divine potential from behind the illusory veil."

  • I didn’t like the idea of ancestral karma for a long time, but it really does make sense and most scriptures talk about it and some former other. Thanks for letting me know about this special time to HEAL!

  • Several intuitive people/psychics have told me that I have some intense ancestral karma that I need to work out because it holds me back. they say that is why I keep running into like a glass ceiling that holds me back from progressing. So thank you for this information, I will take it by heart and check out your healings.

  • That is a really good point about how appreciation has positive effects on your health, perhaps these ancient customs like ancestral veneration really are good for us to do.
